Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme in France was born the 9th of August 1976. Audrey is the oldest child out of 4. Her parents as a dentist and teacher, were aware of and encouraged their daughter's love for drama and theater at the age of a stage novice. Their support was more than enough to combat her goal of becoming a primatologist. The rise was swift for her to be a well-known young actress. The beginning of her career came at the age of 1999 the year she first began performing professionally. After her studies, Tautou participated in the French talent scouting television programme Jeunes Premiers. Tautou was raised in the context of a Catholic home and went to church, even though she went to school in The Institut Catholique de Paris. Apart from her acting work, she is also pursuing modeling. She modelled for L'Oreal Mont Blanc, Chanel and was dubbed "The Chanel Muse". Apart from her acting work she is also interested in photography. Recently, she exhibited a selection images in the Arles Film Festival with the title Superficial. Her photographs is mainly focused on celebrities and fame. The camera's focus is at journalists, who sat and watched her rise to stardom in Amelie. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and acclaim with her big performance in Le Fabuleux of Amelie Poulain. Amelie was a global success in the field of box office, and was awarded awards across all over the world. It's the biggest French film in the history of French language to be made in the US. In the years following this film, Tautou appeared in numerous films ranging from British dramas and Jean Pierre Jeunet's film Un long Sunday de Faancailles. After that, she shifted to Hollywood and starred with Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
